A good basic first aid course that covers victim & rescuer safety, personal protection and pre-event preparations. Includes care for a variety of traumatic, medical and environmental emergencies, with emphasis on rendering lifesaving care until professional help arrives.
Core Topics Include: Scene Safety, Calling for Help, Interaction with Emergency Responders, First Aid Supplies, Finding the Problem, Breathing Difficulty, Allergic Reactions, Use of Epinephrine Pen, Fainting, Seizures, Diabetes, Shock, Bleeding, Head/Spine Injury, Broken Bones, Sprains, Burns, & Electrocution.
Course can be customized with optional topics, and/or combined with CPR & AED Training. Successful completion earns a 2-year AHA credential.

A comprehensive training program designed for child care & pre-school employees. Course teaches how to manage illness and injury in a child, during the first few minutes of an emergency, until professional help arrives. Includes sections on interacting with children, being ready for emergencies, general principles of first aid and calling for help.
Core Topics Include: Asthma, Allergic Reactions, Use of Epinephrine Pen, Diabetes, Seizures, Shock, Mouth & Tooth Injuries, Bleeding & Wound Care, Head, Neck & Spine Injuries, Broken Bones, Burns, Electrocution, Bites & Stings, Poisoning and Heat/Cold Related Emergencies.
Course can be customized with additional modules on Eye Injuries, Fever, Use of Nebulizer Medications and Suspected Abuse. Can also be combined with CPR & AED training. Successful completion earns a 2-year AHA credential.
